Counting Goodbyes

What an emotional roller coaster of a ride!!! I did not want to put it down!!!

Makayla’s life has been great, it has been everything she has ever wanted. She’s got her best friend Lacy, they have been friends since kindergarten. Makayla and her mum are planning trip of lifetime, she is so excited to be going on.

Makayla’s life changes in an instant!!!

Makayla mum’s life is taken by a drunk driver, and Makayla is left overwhelmed. She is not sure where her life will lead her now and what her future will hold.

Makayla is moved out of state by a father she has never known. Makayla has an instant family again, her father Levi, a step mum and two half-brothers. Can her life change anymore? She is struggling with her new life and getting through senior year.

She makes a new friend Bobby, but no one will ever replace Lacy who she is missing every day. But everyone needs a friend they can confide in. She also meets Beau and Austin. Beau will have you laughing and Austin will melt your heart, he is just what Makayla needs to start her new life.

This was a delightful young adult book and I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Warning!!! Be sure and have plenty of tissues beside you. This is a beautifully written book that I couldn’t stop reading, once I started.

I do hope we get more from this great author and hopefully more on these characters that had my crying, laughing and just so enthralled in their stories.

We all know the saying, “When one door closes, another opens.” Well that saying describes this book 100%
