Marrying Mr Valentine by Laura Barnard
The second standalone romantic comedy in the One Month Til I Do series. Not necessary to have read previous book (Adventurous Proposal).
Nadine Roberts smiles for everyone, but beneath it she hides a heartbreaking past that only a few know about. Throwing herself into her new career; wedding planner at The Duck & Goose, a property recently purchased by newlyweds Florence and Hugh, has helped distract her from her loneliness.
When a teary bride suddenly cancels her upcoming wedding, Nadine looks to the two year waiting list. Clara Blumenkrantz and Hartley Valentine. It’ll have to be a quick turnaround, but what’s the worst that can happen, right?
This should be like every other wedding she plans, but the magnetism she feels towards Mr Valentine disrupts the orderly life she’s worked hard to carve out.
Can she ignore her intense desires and be a professional? Or will she open up her heart to the one person that has the power to break it? And in doing so endanger not just her job, but her venue’s reputation?
I had quite a few giggles as I read this novel. It is a fun romance/comedy but it also has a serious side too!!!
Nadine needs to fill a cancellation and she goes to the first couple and contacts them. With a new Bridezilla in the house this is where things get fun and interesting. Clara is a demanding and wants it all. The groom is… well you’re going have to read it to find out!!!
This book has it all, chemistry, romance, comedy and plenty of emotion! There is a wide variety of characters, and is well written. It is going to having you giggling especially all the wedding fiascos that Nadine has to deal with! I read this book in one sitting. I’m so happy I decided to read this.
Thank you to Laura Barnard for offering me a copy of her novel.
This is my honest and unbiased review.
See you in the next chapter

Who knows, you may finally find that someone special on this auspicious day!!!
I have been married for 17 years and being with my hubby for 23 years and so far, I have not received a valentine’s off him. My hubby does not believe in Valentine’s Day he believes you can show your love any/every day of the year. There does not need to be a special day!!!
Guess what??? I totally agree with him!!! If you love someone say it every day!!!
