Chapter Thirteen – Perilous Trust

Perilous Trust (Off The Grid: FBI Trilogy #1)
by Barbara Freethy

This new series will hook you in, from the moment you start reading.

This book features FBI Agent Damon Wolfe and Sophie Parker an Archaeologist.

It all starts off with Sophie Parker receiving 4 messages from her FBI father who was killed in a car accident, the messages a vague but they telling her to trust no one in the FBI. Sophie goes on the run and has no idea who she can trust. Sophie is thrown into a whirlwind of betrayal and danger. Her ex flame and a student of her fathers, FBI Agent Damon Wolfe turns up looking for her but she is not sure if he can be trusted. They had a one-night stand once and she woke up to an empty bed. Can she trust him? Can they work together to help find out what happened to her father?

I loved the action-packed plot and heart-stopping tension! It was absolutely a page turner and I could not get enough. This book had everything from romance to mystery to danger to excitement! The characters were amazing and so well written. There are twists and turns around every corner you don’t know who to trust.

You will really enjoy this action packed romantic/suspense read!

Barbara Freethy knows how to write a great book that her readers will not be able to put down.

I would recommend reading this book. I can’t wait to read the next one in this exciting series.
